A 5-star hotel called the Cali Resort & Spa will open in Paphos at the end of May.
It is worth noting that not everyone will be able to rent a room at the new hotel, as it will operate on an 'adults only' basis.
The resort is located 300 metres from the beach and 50 metres from the main road, which is lined with shops, bars, restaurants and various other amenities. It should be noted that the hotel will operate out of the former Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel, which was purchased by the Louis Plc group of companies last year. The hotel chain undertook a complete refurbishment of the existing property.
The new hotel now offers superior rooms, deluxe rooms and signature suites. The spacious rooms have been decorated in a refined style, using pleasant pastel colours. Almost all of the balconies offer magnificent panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Guests of the new hotel can unwind in the cosy spa centre or relax in the sauna, and there are several swimming pools at their disposal. Fitness enthusiasts can visit the state-of-the-art gym or play on the tennis courts. There are 3 bars and a chic restaurant on the premises.
It should be remembered that Louis Plc has announced its intention to renovate the Crown Resorts Horizon Hotel in 2023.
After the modernisation, the group will be able to upgrade its status to a 5-star hotel. It was also decided to change the name of the hotel. The old hotel was built in 2002. It consisted of a 4-storey main building and an additional 3-storey building with lifts.
The main building had 149 rooms. Among them:
- Mountain View - one-room rooms with bathroom and balcony, with mountain view;
- Side Sea View - studio rooms with bathroom and balcony, with partial sea view;
- Sea View - studio rooms with bathroom and balcony, sea view.
There were also connecting rooms and rooms for people with reduced mobility.
