Alongside the large-scale KEAN project in the Germasogeia area, Limassol is preparing for the implementation of another major investment. On Thursday, October 2, it was announced that SolidVes Ltd had obtained approval from the Department of Environment to construct a multifunctional complex in the Apostolos Andreas area. The total cost of the project is estimated at €80 million, with a built-up area of 14,715 m². Implementation is planned over 30 months and will begin immediately after all necessary permits are obtained.
Next-generation residential complex
At the heart of the project is a modern 14-story residential tower housing about 75 apartments of various layouts, ranging from one-bedroom units to spacious three-bedroom ones. Particular attention has been given to comfort and eco-friendly concepts: the building’s rooftop will feature a green garden with relaxation areas for residents. The lower floors will include retail spaces, while a convenient underground parking facility will serve car owners.
Office center and commercial infrastructure
Next to the residential building, a 13-story office tower with two underground levels will be constructed. Employees and tenants will have access to modern amenities, including a café, restaurant, gym, meeting rooms, and even a rooftop garden. The office spaces have been designed with flexible layouts, allowing companies to adapt the space to their specific needs.
Accessibility and environmental considerations
The entire complex will accommodate nearly 500 parking spaces, 17 of which will be equipped for people with disabilities. About 20% of the parking will be at ground level, with the rest located underground to minimize land use. Environmental aspects have also been carefully considered. According to calculations, the shadow cast by the towers will mainly fall on internal parking areas and green zones during morning hours. In the afternoon, the shadow will partly extend to Omonia Avenue, but its width will minimize any potential inconvenience for neighboring properties.
A new silhouette for Limassol
With the approval of this project, Limassol has the chance to completely transform its architectural landscape. The city is gradually evolving into a modern Mediterranean metropolis, where residential, office, retail, and leisure spaces are harmoniously combined.
Experts believe that such projects strengthen the city’s investment appeal, create new jobs, and enhance its status as a hub for premium development solutions in Cyprus.
