Modern playground to be built in Paralimni area

The Municipality of Paralimni has launched a project to radically modernise the playground located on the coastal promenade between Fig Tree Bay and Vrisi beach.

The project involves the dismantling of the old playground equipment and the installation of a new modern playground, including the replacement of the flooring. In particular, double swings, a mill and two springs, ladders and climbers for children will be installed. The new playground will be completely safe for children. The surface will be rubberised and the play equipment will be made of wood and non-toxic materials.

The cost of the project is estimated at 1.5 million euros. It will take about 3 months to complete.

The mayor's office has stated that they do not intend to stop at what has been achieved. They plan to modernise playgrounds throughout the region.
