The village of Palodia, which is located just 5 km from Limassol, is about to undergo radical changes.
Recently, the Department of Environmental Protection of Cyprus received a new project for consideration from Frontarico Ltd. The developer intends to build a large-scale multifunctional complex in the vicinity of the Cypriot village.
According to the release, the project will include residential and commercial buildings, a university, dormitories, a cultural center, a research and development center, a photovoltaic park, a multi-story parking lot, and food/leisure areas. Construction work will begin as soon as the necessary permits are obtained.

The project will be implemented in three phases.
The first phase will include:
- Construction of the main part of the main building of the university.
- Erection of one of the three buildings of student dormitories.
- Erection of the western part of the residential complex.
- Erection of a multi-story parking lot.
- Construction of the main Research and Development Center building, which will include both recreational and commercial space.
The second phase will include:
- Completion of the remainder of the main university building.
- Construction of some of the university's facilities.
- Erection of a second student residence building, which will also include underground parking.
- Construction of an apartment complex to the east of the development site.
- Continued work on the research and development center.
The third phase will include:
- Completion of university facilities.
- Completion of student residence buildings.
- Completion of the construction of a single residential complex.
- Completion of construction of the Research and Development Center.
The proposed zoning plan will cover a land area of 310,352 m2. The net land area remaining after allocation of land for public road, public green space and social facilities will be about 228,835m2.
