The Cyprus Environment Ministry has approved the construction of a modern business centre, the GLOBAL TOWER, in Limassol.
The project is owned by Radikalino Holdings Ltd.
According to the release, the modern office tower will be built in the prestigious Germassoia area, on the site of the recently demolished Estella Hotel. The new commercial building will be 29 metres high. The ground floor of the building will house a lobby, gym and cafeteria, while the remaining floors will be used for modern offices. Photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof of the building to generate electricity from renewable energy sources. The area around the building will be landscaped. The project also includes an underground car park.
The project will take approximately two years to complete. The approximate cost of construction of the GLOBAL TOWER will be 4 million euros.

The main objective of the new project is to meet part of the labour and commercial needs of the wider Limassol community. The construction of GLOBAL TOWER is expected to create new jobs and further strengthen the region by enhancing the socio-economic character of the area.
To recap, the Estella Hotel in Limassol was opened in 1984. The last major renovation took place in 2002. Holidaymakers are accommodated in 36 rooms of two types: Studio Rooms and Family Rooms. The best beach in Limassol, Dasoudi Beach, is a seven minute walk from the Estella Hotel.
