A new soft drinks factory has opened in Limassol's Ipsonas neighborhood.
The owner of the facility is the Kassatly Group Holding, based in neighboring Lebanon.
We remind you that the realization of this large-scale project began in 2021. The construction was entrusted to the representative of Kassatly Group Holding in Cyprus - Boutique Beverage Bottling Int'l Ltd. Finally, three years later, the plant began production of the first products. In particular, Freez mix soda is known in many countries of the world.
According to the head of Kassatly Group Holding Akram Kassatly, the project consists of three main blocks:
- Production of glass bottles.
- Mixing the components of carbonated drinks.
- Bottling.
The plant has office and warehouse space, loading and unloading areas for products and raw materials, as well as a parking lot for vehicles. The total area of the building site is 14 thousand m2, and another 9 thousand m2 is occupied by green areas.
We are delighted to announce the launch of production at our new plant in Limassol of the world-famous Freez soda. The first day of operation of the plant went very smoothly and we hope to increase its production capacity in the coming months," said Kassatly.
The Ipsonas plant cost 12 million euros to build. At the moment it employs 25 people. However, the number of employees is planned to increase to 100.
Kassatly emphasized that Cyprus was not chosen by chance to implement this large-scale project. On the one hand, the company was attracted by favorable tax benefits, and on the other hand, by its excellent geographical location.
