A concrete plant will be built in the industrial area of Ipsonas in Limassol, 1.2 km from the Kouris dam and 2 km from the Limnati river bed.
The Cyprus Department of Environment recently granted the relevant permit to K. Kythreotis Holdings Public.
The cost of the project is estimated at 700 thousand euros and the implementation period is 18 months.
According to the release, the new plant will be able to produce up to 150 m3 of concrete per hour.
According to the plan, the project also includes the construction of:
- weighing station,
- a warehouse for storage of materials necessary for concrete production,
- garage,
- parking lot for 30 parking spaces, 20 of which will be allocated for trucks and 10 for cars.

In addition, a green zone with trees and bushes with the area of 3624 m2 will be created to the north-west of the plant building.
It should be mentioned that the company K. Kythreotis Holdings Public has been specializing in the production of building materials in Cyprus since 1970.
Concrete is very much needed in the Cyprus construction market, primarily to reduce the cost of our own construction. We check the quality of our products in a laboratory with all the necessary equipment: how much concrete has gained strength and so on. We plan to produce multi-match concrete, as well as masonry mortars," said the representative of K. Kythreotis Holdings Public Company.
