The Cyprus Department of Environmental Protection has approved the construction of a new commercial high-rise in Larnaca.
The building will be constructed by Quince Properties Limited on a 335 m2 plot of land.
The commercial high-rise will be built in the Panagia Chrysopolitissa neighborhood. The area is quite developed, there are many buildings of mixed, residential, office and commercial type.
According to the release, the project involves the construction and operation of a 54.2 meters high tower, which will have 12 above-ground floors, a basement, and 2 underground floors for parking. The first floor of the building will be used as a reception area, at the main entrance there will be a decorative overflow tank on which a floating platform will be built.
The complex will feature an extravagant architectural design and spectacular panoramic views. Once the project is commissioned, the building will be able to accommodate about 100 employees.
The developer has expressed the hope that the commercial project will enhance the confidence of potential international investors as well as contribute to the future development of Larnaca.
Construction work is expected to begin once the necessary documents are issued. The project will take 24 months to complete. The cost of the works is estimated at €3.5 million.
