The number of hotels and tourist apartments in Cyprus that welcome guests with pets is gradually increasing. More and more travelers prefer not to part with their pets during vacations, and the island’s tourism industry is gradually adapting to this trend.
According to the latest data from the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Tourism, there are currently 44 hotels and tourist accommodation facilities across the country where staying with animals is officially allowed. Among them are full-service hotels, including 5-star resorts, as well as traditional apartments, small hotels, and organized tourist complexes.
Of the total number of such facilities, 21 belong to the hotel category, and some of them offer a high level of service — four or five stars. The remaining options are mostly traditional apartments and small tourist complexes. The largest number of pet-friendly accommodations is located in the Paphos region, where about 12 such facilities are situated.
The authorities of Cyprus remind that rules for staying with animals may differ in each specific hotel. Therefore, tourists planning a trip with a pet are advised to contact the selected hotel or apartments in advance to clarify accommodation conditions, possible restrictions on the animal’s weight, additional fees, and other details.

In the capital region of Cyprus there are also several accommodation options for travelers with animals.
