Edem's Yard:
One of the most popular coastal places for breakfast in Larnaca opens not earlier than 8:30 am. If you really want to get there, come in advance. After 10 am, there is a solid queue at the entrance, and standing in it, you might start thinking about lunch. The sign is rather inconspicuous, and you can easily miss it while walking through the historic center.
The interior of the covered garden is decorated with greenery, tapestries, and mosaics depicting Greek gods.
It leads to a small open-air veranda.
The morning menu consists of a variety of delicious European desserts, including fresh pastries, American pancakes with syrups, yogurts with chia seeds, as well as omelets with herbs in the French style and English versions with crispy bacon. However, the establishment opens at exactly 7 am, half an hour earlier than the nearby Starbucks. You can park across the street at the paid parking lot or in the area of the new marina at the free parking and walk a few minutes.
Kids will be delighted with colorful milkshakes, pancakes, and waffles. Moreover, there are always plenty of hot croissants with various fillings here, so eat with confidence for yourself and your friend!
Lazaris Bakery Bar
Craving for angelically delicious pastries for breakfast? Then head to the main attraction of Larnaca - the Church of St. Lazarus.
To the right along the alley is a small cozy bakery.

Don't wait for waiters. Here, self-service culture prevails. The selection of pastries is enormous. The croissants are one of the tastiest in town. Fruit salads and yogurt with muesli are always available. From time to time, the menu is enriched with seasonal offerings. In some cafes of the chain, you can order pizza.
Today, there are several Caffè Nero cafes in Larnaca. The most popular one is located in the Mackenzie area, with a summer terrace on the seafront. The quietest coffee shop is in the recently renovated Zouhouri Square. You can find a cafe with a shared underground parking lot at the Metropolis shopping center, which is convenient during rainy weather. But be aware that it opens no earlier than 8:30 am.

In the historic center, Glykolémono offers delicious breakfast, but at 8:30 am, I had a hard time finding a waiter.
However, the small gallery on the theme of "The Little Prince" by Exupéry refreshes better than coffee. Always remember which planet you live on.
To the right of Zouhouri Square, there is a quiet hipster place, Menta Specialty CoffeeShop, with excellent coffee, a bed of blooming lavender, healthy desserts, and a tech station to charge your gadgets.
