10 skyscrapers to adorn Limassol skyline in coming years

The future of Limassol cannot be imagined without skyscrapers.

They play the role of dominants in the urban development of the city. Some locals like these engineering marvels, others don't.

However, the lack of land plots in Limassol is forcing local developers to choose skyscrapers. High-rise buildings make it possible to solve urban problems when there is a high cost of land in Limassol. At the same time, the local authorities carefully monitor that the complexes harmoniously fit into the area around them and are interesting not only for the number of floors, but also for their architecture. Often they are excellent in everything.

Currently, there are more than 15 skyscrapers in Limassol. And this is not the limit! Despite all the difficulties that the construction sector in Cyprus is experiencing, developers do not give up and continue to implement their ambitious projects.

Thus, in the coming years, 10 new high-rise complexes will be put into operation in Limassol. Among them:


Trilogy Limassol Seafront

Trilogy Limassol Seafront is an incredibly bold and one of a kind project that consists of two residential and one commercial towers. An ultra-modern high-rise complex with its own infrastructure is being built in the coastal part of Limassol, 20 meters from the seacoast.

The name of the complex was not chosen by accident. As planned, the skyscraper should become a new architectural symbol of Limassol.

Blu Marine is the first large project in the western part of Limassol, in the area which was not popular for modern development. It is known that the project was developed by the architectural bureau Panos Panayiotou + Associates (PPA Architects), and engineering support was provided by DDA Mechanical Consulting Engineers LLC.

If we talk about the interior decoration of the building, then it will become the embodiment of elegance, style and perfection. Among the main advantages of the project is the convenient layout of the apartments, as well as stunning views of the sea and Limassol from the terraces.

Marcuji

Today, the demand for office space in Cyprus significantly exceeds the supply. Therefore, trying to meet the growing needs, local developers are actively building commercial facilities. One of these projects will be Marcuji.

The skyscraper will appear in the prestigious area of Germasogeia. Shops will be located on the lower floors of the building, while offices will be located on the upper floors. Ample parking is also provided for the convenience of visitors.

The height of the object will be 49 m. The building will have 9 ground floors, 2 underground floors, a mezzanine and 1 basement floor.

Marcuji should be handed over in 2024.


Ararat

Ararat Grand Residences is an seafront elite complex in the area of Agios Tychonas.

Mount Ararat, which gave the name to the project, became the place where the Old Testament Noah's ark landed. You can do the same by dropping anchor in Limassol and settling into Ararat Grand Residences club residence, which has never been equaled in Cyprus.

Almost all apartments in the complex were sold before construction began. This is one of the most successful projects in Cyprus. And do you know why? The complex differs from all others both by its excellent location and exceptional external and internal characteristics.

The project is striking in its uniqueness. This is a small complex with 17 apartments, but it is made as if it were a mini-town. Ararat has its own piazza, several parking lots and even a separate access road for the residents of the complex.

Clelia is an unusual high-rise building, the highlight of which will be spacious terraces and vertical gardening of the facade. An elite skyscraper is being built in the area of Agios Tychonas, just 100 meters from the sea.

The 19-story skyscraper will have a height of 75.3 m. The total area of the construction site is 7,045 m2. Clelia is a project designed to invest in real estate in Cyprus. It will house apartments with an average area of 100 m2.

The complex has a private swimming pool and gym, tennis court, children's room. For the convenience of the owners of the complex, an underground parking lot for 41 cars will be equipped, 4 of which will be allocated for people with disabilities, and 4 for guests of the complex.

In total, there are 26 luxury residential units in the high-rise building. Potential buyers will be given a choice of 2-, 3-, 4-bedroom apartments, as well as a luxurious 5-bedroom penthouse on the top floor.

The commissioning of the facility is scheduled for the end of 2023.


Zaria Resort

The implementation of the Zaria Resort project has not yet begun, but the developer has already received all the necessary permits.

A grandiose complex should be built in the tourist part of Pyrgos, on the first coastline, surrounded by luxurious 5-star hotels: Parklane, Luxury Collection Resort and Spa and Sofitel.

It will consist of a luxury hotel block, including the western and eastern wings. The two buildings, each 36.5 m high, will house a total of 300 rooms.

In the eastern wing, in addition to the hotel block, a 16-storey tower with 40 apartments will be built. Of these: 9 will be with one bedroom, 14 - with two, 16 - with three, as well as 1 luxury penthouse. The total height of the building will be 109 m.

The territory of the complex will include:

  1. fitness club "World Class" with an area of 1700 m2 with a 25-meter swimming pool,
  2. A luxury spa offering comprehensive treatments using the Tavelis Spa concept,
  3. 6 outdoor pools, 2 of which are with sea water,
  4. 2 tennis courts,
  5. multifunctional sports ground,
  6. cafeteria,
  7. lounge area,
  8. beach bar,
  9. spacious indoor and outdoor play and educational areas for children.

Also, for the convenience of residents and guests of the complex, a convenient parking lot will be equipped. In particular, the hotel block provides 3-level underground parking for 242 parking spaces, 8 of which will be allocated for people with disabilities. An underground parking for 91 cars will appear in the residential complex. Of these, 3 will be allocated for people with disabilities.

The duration of the project will be 24 months.


Crowne Plaza

Big changes are coming to the popular Crowne Plaza hotel in Limassol. A new modern 8-story building with luxurious rooms, a roof garden and underground parking is being actively erected on the territory of the hotel.

The residential building with a height of 36.37 m will adjoin the main building of the hotel from the eastern part of the complex. It will house 22 cozy rooms for 48 beds (some rooms will be triple and quadruple).

The first four floors will have four rooms per floor, while the fifth to eighth floors will feature suites with living rooms and kitchens. In addition, the project provides for a roof garden, which will have access to the veranda. The area of the spacious veranda will be 120.7 m2, it will offer stunning views of the sea and the city.

On the underground floor, in addition to parking, there will also be utility rooms and storerooms. The building will have a spa with a sauna and a special massage area. It is worth noting that the new high-rise will be connected to the existing hotel through a special tunnel, which will be located on the ground floor.
