About Project

‘Hygge’ is a Danish and Norwegian word expressing a relaxed mood of coziness, comfort and wellness. This way of life has been our inspiration in creating this unique development.

Set in a quiet area in the village of Frenaros, Hygge Homes consists of 16 residences, created with the needs of modern life in mind. Combining contemporary architecture with the highest quality construction materials and craftsmanship, each residence has been created to fulfill the needs of the most demanding buyers. Aesthetics and functionality play an important role in the design of each home. Frenaros

The village of Frenaros is located in the Ammochostos (Famagusta) district. The village takes its name from the Lusignan monks that lived in the nearby monastery of Panagia of Hortakion, and were called ‘Fremenors’. The Byzantine churches of Agios Andronikos and the Archangelos Michael, which date back to the 12th century, and the 15 century church of Agia Marina with its interesting frescoes, are three important sights.

This beautiful village boasts full amenities such as traditional taverns, pharmacies, coffee shops, a post office and supermarkets. Every year, the village hosts the Watermelon Festival, where visitors can enjoy complimentary fresh watermelon and its products such as ice-cream and cocktails.

Hygge Homes is in an ideal location with easy access to the tourist areas of Ayia Napa and Protaras as well as Sotira Village which is just1KM away.
