After a forced break due to anti-COVID measures, the Rise Hotel is reopening in Larnaca.
The hotel has remained closed for the last one and a half years, but now it is ready to open its doors, it has been radically updated not only inside, but also outside.
Amazing graffiti appeared on the building, it was made by famous writers led by Achilleas Michaelides, better known as Paparazzi.
His graffiti is known both on the island of Aphrodite and outside.
As you may know, the Rise Hotel is a 3-star hotel located near the Larnaca Marina, just 500 meters from the beach.
The four-story hotel was built in 2005. The hotel offers rooms of the following categories: Standard, Deluxe, Senior Suite and Rise Suite.
It is worth noting that many locals really like the hotel's painting, but this cannot be said about the local authorities. The city's mayor Andreas Vyras said that the city's municipality did not issue permission to paint the walls in the hotel and this issue will be considered by the Urban Planning Committee, which will meet on Thursday. In other words, the hotel management may be asked to paint over the graffiti in case of a negative reaction from the committee members.
Can all the efforts of graffiti artists be in vain?
