Completion of Flagship Project, The Landmark Nicosia, Set for 2025

Works on the grand project, The Landmark Nicosia, are currently in active implementation.

On Thursday, August 3rd, the development company shared updates from the construction site of the grand project, The Landmark Nicosia. In particular, Harris Michael, the CEO of MHV Group, stated that the renovation of the hotel building and the construction of two new towers are proceeding according to the established schedule.

It is anticipated that the refurbished hotel will open its doors to guests by the end of 2024, while the luxurious skyscrapers are set to be completed in 2025. This flagship project is located in one of the most central points of the Cypriot capital, marking the entrance to the city center.

The two new skyscrapers are being erected on the site of the parking lot of The Landmark hotel (formerly Hilton). The elevated location ensures that the towers will stand out prominently against the backdrop of nearby buildings and offer panoramic views of the city, mountains, and sea from all corners.

The 17-story residential tower will feature 53 apartments, while the 16-story commercial building will house modern offices. Both the residential and commercial skyscrapers will include two-level underground parking facilities.

The modern and innovative architectural design of the buildings will reflect the uniqueness and scale of the project, making it a true landmark of the city.

The total cost of the project is estimated to exceed 100 million euros.

With the introduction of these skyscrapers, the value of the area is expected to increase significantly. It's worth noting that the international hotel chain Marriott is also involved in the implementation of this grand project.

In addition to the skyscraper construction, the renovation of the main hotel building is also underway. The reconstruction includes the first floor and mezzanine, the construction of a new 180 m2 pool, two restaurants measuring 230 m2 and 210 m2 respectively, a 32 m2 cafe, and a 150 m2 bar.

The reconstruction project also encompasses the creation of underground and above-ground parking spaces for 419 cars. During the work, walls on the hotel's first floor have already been demolished to accommodate the necessary changes. The total area of demolished sections is approximately 1450 m2, while the total area of areas undergoing repair work is 1352 m2.
