The Cyprus University of Technology (TEPAK) has announced an open tender to select a contractor for the comprehensive management and operation of student dormitories in the former Verenggaria settlement in the Kato Polemidia area of Limassol. The project is part of the university’s large-scale strategy to address the student housing problem, which in recent years has remained one of the most acute in Cyprus.
A modern student campus in Kato Polemidia
The new residential complex includes 9 buildings with a total capacity of about 500 students. The campus infrastructure meets modern requirements for quality of living and safety. The territory includes: a gym, a cafe-restaurant, a mini-market, a spacious multifunctional hall, laundry and drying facilities, underground parking, storage areas, changing rooms, and administrative offices.
The development of student housing is especially relevant for Limassol, where rental rates have increased significantly in recent years. The new student campus will partially reduce pressure on the real estate market and provide students with more affordable and comfortable living conditions close to academic buildings.
First phase of the project: timeline and launch
The first phase provides for the commissioning of two buildings with 154 places. Completion of construction works is scheduled for June 30, 2026. Starting from September 1, 2026, the first 154 places will be available for student accommodation.
It is expected that the launch of the first phase will become an important stage in the development of university infrastructure and will increase the attractiveness of studying at TEPAK for both local and international students. In recent years, the university has been actively developing international programs and strengthening its position in the field of applied sciences and technology.

Tender participation conditions and important dates
The tender is conducted through the Cyprus government electronic procurement system eProcurement. The contractor will be responsible for full facility management, including technical maintenance, building operation, and the provision of service services.
For interested companies, an on-site familiarization meeting is scheduled for February 27, 2026. An open information session will take place on March 3, 2026, in the rectorate building. The deadline for submitting questions is set for March 4, 2026, and the final deadline for application submission is March 27, 2026.
Investments in the quality of student life
TEPAK continues to actively invest in the development of a modern educational environment. The creation of new dormitories is not only a solution to the housing problem but also a contribution to the formation of a full-fledged university space with comfortable social infrastructure.
The dormitory project in Limassol reflects the overall trend of higher education development in Cyprus, where universities are increasing their focus on living conditions, digital services, and sustainable campus development. The implementation of the initiative will improve the quality of student life and strengthen the university’s position on the educational map of the region.
