A modern park will appear in Paphos in the Geroskipou area.
The new green space will be built by Korantina Homes. They will cover all the costs of the park construction.
The services of the Municipality of Geroskipou, together with Korantina Homes, are currently completing the preparatory work. As expected, the company will begin the implementation of the project in early May this year.
The new park will bear the name of Andreas Stylianides, a prematurely deceased resident of Geroskipou, who took an active part in the social and political development of the city.
The new green recreation area will be located on the territory where the offices of the Department of Water Supply and the 2nd primary school of Geroskipu are located.
The implementation period will be about 6 months.
Meanwhile, Paphos has already begun to create the largest park in the city - Park of Colours.
As you may know, on the territory of the Park of Colours will be created:
- cafe
- skate park
- tennis court
- Botanical Garden
- climbing wall
- basketball court
- children's playground
- small soccer field
- several small squares
- open-air exhibition space
The project cost is estimated at 3.7 million euros. Work on it will take about 9 months.
There is no doubt that the long-awaited arrangement of park areas in Paphos will have a positive impact on the city development, and the new parks will become a point of attraction for residents and guests of the city.
