Nicosia has once again confirmed its status as a promising place to live and invest, with a high ranking in the prestigious fDi Intelligence ranking.
The authors of the study included the Cypriot capital in the list of 'The Best European Cities of the Future 2025', highlighting its competitive advantages among small cities in Europe. According to a statement from the municipality, Nicosia ranked second in the 'Human Resources and Lifestyle' category, which indicates a high level of education, skilled workforce, availability of talented professionals and comfortable living conditions.
In the category 'Foreign Direct Investment Attraction Strategy', the city was ranked tenth, indicating the growing interest of international businesses in the Cypriot capital. Nicosia Mayor Charalambos Prountzos said the result was the result of years of efforts to develop infrastructure, modernise the urban environment and attract technology companies.
We want to create a city that will be a centre of innovation, economic growth and quality of life," the mayor said.
It is worth noting that fDi Intelligence experts have ranked Nicosia among recognised European centres such as Oxford (UK), Linz (Austria) and Geneva (Switzerland), confirming the growing influence of the Cypriot capital on the international stage.
This achievement underlines not only Nicosia's economic potential, but also its high standard of living, making it attractive to locals, expats, entrepreneurs and investors alike.
