Cyprus Department of the Environment approved on Wednesday, 12 May the construction of a new residential complex in Peyia, Paphos.
According to the release, the land plot of 3 thousand m2 is located at an altitude of 12 m above sea level and at a distance of 180 m southeast of the coast. There are five old buildings that will soon be demolished.
According to the project, 18 duplex villas should be constructed here.
Each house in the complex will be of 171 m2 and have a private swimming pool and parking. In addition, the complex will equip a green area of 1,488 m2, asphalt roads, lay sidewalks and make a parking for guests, the area of which will be 1,282 m2.

Construction work includes the following stages:
- Demolition of five buildings.
- Construction of eighteen 3-bedroom homes with private pools.
- Installation of a biological wastewater treatment system and an underground drainage network.
It is worth noting that there is all the infrastructure necessary for a comfortable stay in the immediate vicinity of the new complex: shops, cafes, restaurants, and the beach. The Akamas Peninsula and Natura 2000 Special Protection Zones are located at a distance of about 540 m from here. The houses will be accessed from Thalassinon Spilion Street (extension of Coral Bay Avenue) to Keratidiou Street.
The total project cost is estimated at 3 million euros.
