From October 5, 2026, taxpayers in Cyprus will be able to register or change the bank account used to receive payments from the Tax Department only through Tax For All. Applications sent by email or by any other method without logging in through CY Login will no longer be accepted.
How to register or change an IBAN
The new rules apply to individuals and organisations that need to provide a bank account for receiving tax payments. From October 5, 2026, applications must be submitted exclusively through the Tax For All (TFA) taxpayer portal. Under the standard procedure, applicants must:
- log in to Tax For All using CY Login credentials;
- complete the electronic T.D. 2008 form;
- attach an IBAN confirmation issued by the bank;
- submit the documents through the system.
The Tax Department separately emphasises that the IBAN provided must belong to the payment recipient — either the individual or the organisation in whose name the amount is to be paid. Applications submitted without authorisation through CY Login, including by email, will be rejected from October 5. This means that sending the T.D. 2008 form by ordinary email will no longer be possible.

An exception applies only to certain organisations
A separate procedure is provided for certain organisations. It applies only in cases where obtaining CY Login is objectively impossible because the organisation cannot be identified in the system. In such cases, the organisation must:
- complete and sign form T.D. 2008-S;
- obtain IBAN confirmation from the bank;
- submit the documents through Tax For All as a new message without logging in through CY Login.
Once the request has been processed, the taxpayer will be notified by email. At the same time, the Tax Department clarifies that this exception does not apply to organisations that are able to obtain CY Login but have simply not yet registered in the system. They must follow the standard procedure through an authorised login to Tax For All.
Tax For All is becoming the main channel for tax services
The new rule is part of the Cyprus Tax Department’s transition to digital services through Tax For All. The platform brings together the main tax procedures in one system and is used by individuals, companies and professionals to manage tax obligations. Access to TFA through CY Login became available on August 22, 2025. Users who already have a CY Login account can use the same credentials to access Tax For All. CY Login was previously known as the government’s Ariadne service. If a taxpayer experiences technical problems accessing the system, they can contact Tax For All technical support on 17700. For calls from abroad, the number +357 22 803803 is also available. The centre deals specifically with technical issues and does not provide tax advice. Opening hours are 07:30–16:00, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The Tax Department has also published detailed instructions on registering and changing bank details and IBAN information through Tax For All.
