As you may know, the City of Dreams Mediterranean casino resort, owned by the consortium of Melco International Development Ltd and The Cyprus Phassouri (Zakaki) Limited, is located next to the New Port in Limassol (between the Akrotiri salt lake and My Mall shopping center).
The casino is part of a luxurious 500-room hotel. It features 136 gaming tables and 1200 slot machines. The resort also includes a 9,600 sqm exhibition complex, a 1,500-seat concert hall, a 4,000 sqm spa center, as well as restaurants and entertainment clubs.
City of Dreams Mediterranean is the largest investment project ever undertaken in Cyprus, with an estimated value of over 650 million euros.
According to the calculations of the Cypriot government, City of Dreams Mediterranean will contribute up to 700 million euros to the country's treasury annually, which is 4% of the entire GDP of the Republic of Cyprus. In addition, City of Dreams Mediterranean is expected to attract an additional 300,000 tourists to the island each year, helping to address the issue of seasonality in tourism. The official opening of City of Dreams Mediterranean will take place on July 10.
About the Award

The panel evaluates the competition projects based on various criteria, including quality, design, sustainability, operation, innovation, and originality.
